------- Hugh flew west on Sat, Aug 20, 2022 at the age of 88 ------- Notes Of Remembrance An enlargement of his obituary photo Hugh began working at Central Airlines on Oct 6, 1955 ------- Two months before his father had died in a CV240 crash He was an American Airlines captain The CAB accident investigation report His father had crashed the previous year and survived Both flights had departed from the Springfield, MO airport and were CV240s ------- Hugh poses in his uniform about 1960 He won a prize and money in May 1965 That October he got his 10 year pin By Oct 1970 he had 15 years with Frontier Hugh's 20th service anniversary came in Oct 1975 There was a luncheon for him and others in Jan 1976 He got his 25 year pin in Oct 1980 A photo of him at work about 1985 Hugh was #4 on the Sep 1986 pilot seniority list He received the Wright Brothers "Master Pilot" Award in Mar 2009 ------- Trudie and he celebrated his 80th birthday in Nov 2013 His daughter Renee helped out Hugh showed his appreciation Renee and Hugh in an undated photo -------
