He had previously worked at Rocky Mountain Airways in DEN. (Ken also sent the burial note for Wally) -Ken Schultz (12/5/04) I went to the memorial service and was surprised to see many old FAL mechanics and management there. Wally worked for Frontier for about 8 years and for United for 17 years, retiring about a year ago. There were 50-75 people there, most of whom were in United maintenance. There were more FAL people there than I have seen for some time at an old FAL service. A lot of mechanics have retired and moved back to the area, most went to work for UPS, US AIR, FEDEX, etc. Don Burbank, who is a regional manager for UAL is based in VA., Sam Pierce- retired from UAL, Leo Schuster, Dallas Mortensen, Gary Trujillo, Tom Willey, Carl Willmann, Floyd Hoyt (he contacted the west nile virus-lost a lot of weight, and just about didn’t make it) Bob Keifer, Pete Salli, A. J. Uttlefield and several others. I talked to John Kosmicki last week and he said that Warren Brindley moved back to Indianapolis last summer, where his wife is from. I also talked to Joe Aguirre. His wife died last year and then his son John had a stroke so he is staying with Joe. I haven’t talked to George Furden since Jon Bartram retired from the new Frontier a year or so ago. I saw Wayne Elliott last spring and he gave me some of his old FAL materials. I haven’t had any contact with Steve or Pam since John and Pauline’s anniversary party. -Ken Schultz (12/16/04) Wallace Byron Dahl Spouse: Carolyn Mae Westman Marriage Date: November 30, 1968 Location: Clay County, Minnesota -http://marriage-divorce-records.mooseroots.com/d/c/Wallace-Dahl (9/22/15) WALLY B DAHL DEN mgr line maintenance Died Nov 24, 2004, age 60, at Parker CO DOB Mar 8, 1944 DOH Sep 1, 1977 per Ken Schultz' We Remember database. -Jake Lamkins (9/22/15) FLight West: Wally Dahl DEN manager-line maintenance Wally Dahl's memorial webpage has been upgraded: http://FAL-1.tripod.com/Wally_Dahl.html Moved to a non-ad website and updated. -Jake Lamkins (9/23/15)
