TOM KELLY 1977 - 1986 STATION AGENT, SENIOR STATION AGENT, RAMP SUPERVISOR DEN SMF Doug and I recieved an update on Tom Kelly this morning. As most of you know, he has been battling cancer for close to 15 years. He recently told us it had come back with a vengeance. He was released from the hospital this morning to go home and be with his family. We will keep you advise as we recieve information. The doctors have determined that he is not strong enough to transfer him home for hospice and as a result, will continue to receive comfort care at the hospital. He was a little present yesterday, acknowledging the presence of others, but today he has been resting. His heart rate remains around 60/40 but is not in pain. He is surrounded by family (a large contingent of Kellys) as well as a large contingent of friends and fellow employees. I have delivered the well wishes you all have offered and he and his family know how beloved he is within our family. Everyone remains strong and knows he has put up a ferocious battle for many years. His spirit remains strong in all of us. Thank you for your outpouring of thoughts and prayers. The Kellys are deeply appreciative. -Joe Barker (1/5/16) Thanks for the info. We were under the impression he had gone home.
