THOMAS CRARY 1962 - 1986 RELIABILITY ANALYST, ELECTRICAL ENGINEER DEN I thought of you and FRONTIER NEWS when I stumbled across the enclosed obituary in this mornings Spokane paper (The Spokesman Review). You can tell you're getting old when you start reading the obits as part of your morning coffee/paper routine! I did not know Mr. Crary. What initially caught my eye was that he was born in Cando, ND. North Dakota is my home state and my Sister and Brother in Law lived in Cando for years. My niece, her husband and family live there currently. Anyway, I then proceeded to read the rest of the obituary only to discover that Mr. Crary worked for Frontier for 25 years. You may have already been aware of Mr. Crary's passing, but I felt it couldn't hurt to send you a note nonetheless. I enjoy reading the FRONTIER NEWS and was especially sad to read of the passing of Irma Wood a couple of editions ago. I have many fond memories of Irma from the FL/PEX interchange days. -Larry Martin (5/25/12) He is not listed in the Feb 1960 FL Directory. Thomas E. Crary per the 5/1/11 ESOP Lost List. TOM CRARY, reliability analyst DEN MR - Quality Control and Engineering per the Jan 1 & Jul 1, 1970 FL telephone directories. TOM CRARY, no title given DEN EE - Engineering and Quality Control per the Nov 1977 FL Quick Reference Directory. He is not listed in the Nov 1978 and subsequent QRDs. Assuming the obit is correct about 25 years with FL, I'm assuming the time period of employment at FL being 1961 to 1986. -Jake Lamkins (5/25/12) Posted at FLacebook and the FL Club: FL engineer Tom Crary has died. http://www.legacy.com/obituaries/spokesman/obituary.aspx?pid=157753206 Tom worked as a reliability analyst in the engineering department. -Jake Lamkins (5/25/12) Posted at FLacebook and the FL Club: Reliability analyst Tom Crary's memorial webpage has been posted. http://FAL-1.tripod.com/Tom_Crary.html Post your remembrances of Tom. -Jake Lamkins (6/7/12) So sorry to hear of the loss of Uncle Tom.
