Suffering from COPD, Terry was taken by ambulance to a hospital on 2 Jan. On 15 Jan he was transferred to a hospice facility where he succumbed six days later. Word was late getting to us, as Terry was a bachelor and had no family in the immediate area. His brother Larry arrived Sunday to make arrangements, which follow: Viewing at 10:30 AM Monday, 2 Feb at Advantage Aurora Chase Chapel, 1095 Havana St , Aurora , 80010. Memorial service at 11:30 AM. Burial at Ft Logan National Cemetery at 1:30 PM 2 Feb. Attendees should arrive at Staging Area B before 1:30 PM. Enter Ft Logan through the north gate on Denver Drive . Continue east to second intersection and turn south on Wyoming . First vehicle to arrive continue south to the "Staging Area B" sign, pull over to the curb and stop there. All subsequent vehicles fall in behind first vehicle along the curb. While in the Staging Area, remain in your vehicle. A Ft Logan staff member will arrive just prior to 1:30 and guide all vehicles in procession to the shelter where the committal service will take place. -Mike Daciek (1/27/09) COPD? Preceded in death by parents, Harry and Violet Johnson. Survived by brothers, Tom (Darlene), Larry (Darlene), and Fred. Served as a fighter pilot in Southeast Asia, Air National Guard in Denver, and piloted for both Frontier and Continental Airlines. Funeral Service Monday, February 2, 11:30 AM at Advantage Aurora Chase Chapel, 1095 Havana St., Aurora. Visitation 1 hour prior to service. Interment at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
