I saw this in today's Denver Post obits - Taffy worked in Denver Reservations for years.  
I last visited with Taffy prior to her moving to Ohio I think about 2 years ago.

There was an obituary in today's (Saturday) Denver Post for Taffy Valassis.  
Taffy worked in Denver RK starting about 1958 or so....
I last visited with Taffy about 2 years ago when she moved to Ohio...
she had some FL items and wanted to make sure it had a home.  
Taffy was a regular to our monthly luncheons we had for years....
She was always wanting to help people--I don't remember ever getting a bad word for her....
I have sent the obit to Jake for posting.

Oh my goodness, Taffy and I were roommates at the Airline Apartments in Aurora for a couple years, 
and we even took a trip to Portugal, Spain and Morocco together. 
I had completely lost touch with her after I got married, and reading this was quite a shock. 
She was a delight to know and live with. 
I visited her several times when she was working in Durango around 1968, 
so often that when we walked in the Strater (?) Bar they started playing the song Ramona. 
We had some great times together! 
RIP, dear Taffy.
