SUSIE LANDIS MEYER 1964? - 1974? FLIGHT ATTENDANT DEN Went to lunch today, saw Ace and Janet Avakian, Patti O'Neal. Heard that a previous FL FA, Susie Landis is fighting battle with cancer. I only have her phone number, no address. Will try to get address. She was well known and loved by everyone. She left to get married before FAL went out of business, but she kept in contact with FAL group. Susie Landis was either 68 or 69 years old, we're not sure. She was 65 years old, died Thursday, Aug 24, memorial services were Monday at First Presbyterian Church. She worked as Frontier Flight Attendant. Married Jerry Meyer on May 12 1984. She worked at King's Western Museum. She loved her horses and dogs and was known as a fun person who was loved by her family and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may benefit Hospice of the Big Horns in care of Tara Keep, First Federal Savings Bank, P.O. Box 6007, Sheridan WY 82801. Meyer Sue Landis Meyer, 65, Ranchester, died Thursday, Aug. 24, 2006, in Sheridan Memorial Hospital. Cremation has taken place, and memorial services will be 11 a.m. Monday at First Presbyterian Church with Pastor Doug Melius officiating. Born Oct. 23, 1940, in Sheridan to Walter “Judge” and Clella (Lathen) Landis, she graduated in 1958 from Sheridan High School and worked as a waitress at Eatons' Ranch. She later worked as a Frontier Airlines flight attendant. She married Jerry Meyer on May 12, 1984, in Sheridan. In her later years, Mrs. Meyer worked part time at King's Western Museum. She loved her horses and dogs and was known as a fun person who was loved by her family and friends. Her husband preceded her in death. Survivors include a daughter, Jonalee Watkins of Bristol, Ind., and two aunts. In lieu of flowers, memorials may benefit Hospice of the Big Horns in care of Tara Keep, First Federal Savings Bank, P.O. Box 6007, Sheridan, WY 82801. Arrangements are with Kane Funeral Home. George Smith sent it to me but he doesn't know her, just read in the obit that she had worked for FAL. I don't know her either.
