RICHARD VLACH 1968 - 1986 STATION AGENT MKC MCI DEN I recently read of your FL newsletter on the website. I worked for FL in MCI from 1968-85 & in DEN 1985-86. I then worked for CO from '86 to my retirement on 12/31/2001. I would like to receive the newsletter. -Richard Vlach (5/21/04) JUST WANT TO LET YOU KNOW THAT I HAVE RECEIVED THE TWO BACK ISSUES OF THE NEWSLETTER AND HOW MUCH I LOOK FORWARD TO THE NEXT ONE. I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO GET IN CONTACT WITH SOME OF MY OLD CO WORKERS THAT I DID NOT KNOW WERE STILL IN THE DEN AND MCI AREAS. I SURE ENJOYED SEEING THE PICTURES OF THE FORMER FLIGHT ATTENDANTS AT THEIR REUNION. I WORKED IN THE COMMISSARY DEPARTMENT IN KANSAS CITY FOR ALMOST FOUR YEARS AT THE OLD AIRPORT AND GOT TO KNOW MANY OF THEM. I HAVE CALLED THE WELLS FARGO BANK IN DENVER ABOUT ESOP . THEY SAID THEY WOULD BE SENDING A CHECK SHORTLY. I KNEW NOTHING AT ALL ABOUT IT. THANKS AGAIN AND KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK. -Richard Vlach (6/10/04) RICHARD VLACH (Age: 71) HOUSTON, TX AURORA, CO RICHARL VLACH -Intelius.com (5/4/07) R VLACH Station agent seniority date of 8/4/68, emp# 09051, on the 1/1/86 FL/ALEA seniority list. -Jake Lamkins (5/3/08) Re: pilot Bob Sampson's flight west I never knew him personally but I do remember seeing him from time to time at Mass over in the Gladstone area at the Catholic Church there. I was with Frontier from 1968 to 1985 as a station agent. -Richard Vlach (2/6/13) FLacebook - FL Club FLight West: Richard Vlach MKC MCI DEN station agent Richard Vlach's memorial webpage is posted: http://FAL-1.tripod.com/Richard_Vlach.html Post your remembrances of Richard. -Jake Lamkins (10/14/16) I worked with Rich at MCI from 75 to 78. He was often on my shift. He kept to himself most of the time, I wish I would have taken the time to get to know him better. One thing I don't remember is ever having to get after Rich. He was always done with his job when it was time to be done. It was hard to watch him work, he did not run much. But you learned to trust Rich to be done when he needed to be. A very good man there. RIP Rich Vlach. -Roger Vote. (10/14/16) Sorry to hear about Richard. Hadn't heard from him. We used to email a lot. Rich flew into DEN when we had one of our picnics at the Park in Aurora. Picked him up at the airport and returned him back that evening. Have a picture of him at the picnic somewhere, will send it to you when I find it.. -Connie Mcalister (10/14/16) Thanks for the photo. I'll add it to his memorial webpage. -Jake Lamkins (10/15/16)
