RAY BUTLER 1968 - 1983 STATION AGENT LAW DEN Just got word from Jeff Hutchinson that Raymond Butler passed away earlier this month. Also Albert McKenzie passed sometime earlier this year. -Ray Hall (11/14/22) Thanks for the info, Ray. Send any further info you get. -Jake Lamkins (11/14/22) R L BUTLER Emp# 01188, LAW station agent DOB 3/24/40 DOH 8/1/68 Ray is on the Jul 1982 seniority list He is not on the Jul 1984 ALEA seniority list or the Nov 1984 employees roster. He may have left the company sometime after LAW closed Nov 15, 1981. -Jake Lamkins (11/14/22) Email to Ray & Jeff: I found Ray's obituary at https://www.beckerfuneral.com/obituary/raymond-butler I had no idea he was a chiropractor. Where did he go when LAW closed in Nov 1981? He's not on the Jul 1984 ALEA seniority list. Any idea when he left Frontier? I'm starting work on his memorial webpage. Any info, pix, etc. appreciated. Thanks, -Jake Lamkins P.S. Albert's webpage is at http://FAL-1.tripod.com/Albert_McKenzie.html (11/21/22) Ray Butler left LAW with the rest of us when FAL pulled out. He went to DEN for a short while. He quit and went to work for Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. He retired from them. Sorry that’s all the info I got. Jeff Hutchinson (11/21/22) Thanks, Jeff, Hope you are well. -Jake Lamkins (11/21/22) I think Raymond went to a chiropractor school right out of high school. As soon as he completed the course, he took over another doctor's practice who wanted to retire. He also took on the debt for the equipment. He had no money to tide him and his family through the start up and had to take the first paying job that came along - Frontier Airlines I think he was a good chiropractor. He would always volunteer to help any of us when we had any kind of back pain and needed a spinal adjustment. I think he would have liked to go back to it but realized the cost it would take on his family. He would always put his family first. I lost contact with him when Frontier pulled out of Lawton. -Ray Hall (11/21/22) Thanks, Ray, Appreciate the help and hope you are well. -Jake Lamkins (11/21/22) R L BUTLER Emp#01188 LAW station agent DOB 3/24/40 DOH 8/1/68 Per the Dec 1970 employees roster.
