Let me know if you hear more. -Jake Lamkins (3/24/20) I heard Ralph Canseco passed away last week too. My dad passed away yesterday. I'm officially parentless, with no guardian here on earth. I'm at peace knowing my mom and dad are finally together again in heaven watching over me as my guardian angels. He was my biggest inspiration in my life and gave me the gift of music. I'm sure Grandpa welcomed you with open arms. Please pray for my family. I'll miss you so much daddy. Give mom hugs for me. Facebook Roxie Spangler March 18, 2020 at 9:47 AM · What a talented human being my father was. Whether it was his drawings and paintings, playing chess blind folded, winning tennis matches or playing his percussions he was a professional and so successful at everything he put his mind too. Miss you so much daddy Ralph Canseco St. Mark Catholic Church 3736 S. Lee's Summit Road, Independence, MO 64055 Our prayers & sympathy are extended to the following: Teresa Canseco, on the death of her son, Ralph Canseco, Jr. -https://container.parishesonline.com/bulletins/02/0869/20200329B.pdf (4/1/20) FLacebook - FL Club His daughter's Facebook page confirms DEN station agent Ralph Canseco has flown west. No obituary yet. Pic attached. -Jake Lamkins (4/1/20) Gary Wingert Now I recognize Ralph. RIP :( Jake Lamkins He aged very gracefully. I did not know he was a musician and an artist. I remember him from my days as a DEN senior station agent. He was a good man to have on your crew. Henry Greathouse Deepest sympathy to his family andf friends Kayla Naima My condolences to his family RIP Ralph Gary Wingert He and his brothers were handsome guys, for sure. Here is a colorized version done by AI that is remarkably accurate (except for a couple of the livery colors). Jake Lamkins That's good! Ken Davidson I met Ralph when I was working at MCI. Really nice guy. Sad to lose him Reva Burke I remembered him, how long was he in MCI. sad for his family. Connie Mcalister Thoughts and prayers for the Ralph Canseco Family. A very nice guy to work with at FAL. Judi Fenton Plumer Another sad loss for the FL family. Great guy that will be missed Ed Ratledge Two chess crazies, we were -- some of my best FL memories are of times across the board from him. ......and I still thank him for my great food weakness, introducing me to Chorizo..... love that stuff, and think of Ralph every time I have it. Jake Lamkins Ed, Ralph's daughter said he played chess blindfolded - he ever do that with you? Ed Ratledge Sr I was hired at MCI and that's where I met Ralph. We basically learned to play "real" chess together, but by the time I got RIFed to Fayetteville neither of us was up to blindfold playing level! Reva Burke Joy May were u still in KC when Ralph worked there? Joy May Yes...so sad! Bonnie Dahl What a guy! So sorry to say Goodbye, God Bless you! Lynn Osadchuk R.I.P. Ralph. (4/2/20) Trish Swanson-Hawk Sending prayers to his family and friends Robin Akens Oh Ralph, no more Chorizo ... nice guy .. I found this photo on Twitter of him receiving recognition for 30 years with United back in 2017. -Roger Hootman (4/2/20) That means he started at UA in 1987. The Jun 1987 Frontier Bankruptcy Report shows him as taking payout and terminating. So he didn't stary with CO then transition to UA like some did. -Jake Lamkins (4/2/20) I had the opportunity to work with Ralph in MCI 1975 to 1978. I was SSA most of the time and when the bidding was done and I had Ralph on my shift it was good. He was young and small but did a fine job of holding up his end of the work. R .I.P. Ralph. -Roger Vote (4/2/20) Ralph Was one fine chess player. I don't understand why he didn't win the DEN station chess tournament. Ralph was definitely a good guy. What happened? So young. -Roger Wallace (4/2/20) R CANSECO JR M DOB 8/17/54 DOH 8/10/76 Per the Dec 1984 Frontier Pension Records. -Jake Lamkins (4/14/20) FLacebook - FL Club FLight West: Ralph Canseco MCI DEN station agent Ralph Canseco's memorial webpage is posted at http://FAL-1.tripod.com/Ralph_Canseco.html Still need an obituary for him. Post your remembrances. -Jake Lamkins (4/15/20) Gary Messerli There was a Ralph Canseco from KC who died but I'm not sure it was the one I worked with at MCI. Jake Lamkins There were two Ralph Cansecos - father & son, sr and jr. The online obit I found was for the father in KC. Cannot find an obit for our Ralph. Sheila Herrmann If you go to container.parishesonline.com there is a small rememberance there on behalf of his mother Theresa Conseco at St Marks in Independence MO. There is also a phone contact for St Marks. If you contact the Church perhaps they can let you know if an obituary was run. It would not surprise me if there was not considering our present state of affairs. Jake Lamkins That was posted on his webpage. Bonnie Dahl He was a good looking man, God Bless you Ralph. (4/15/20) Mark Fitzwater Ralph was a hard working guy - sorry to hear he is no longer with us. (4/16/20)
