What's started our family's recent stirring of Frontier memories was that my Dad got a
phone call a couple of weeks ago about an old FL friend of his who had died.  
I didn't see his name on any of your obituary lists, so I thought I'd pass the name on to you.  
He was Paul Stevenson, and he died in Denver some time in the last 3 weeks.  
His wife's name was Ronnie, I think, and she still works for United AL.  
I hope that information is useful to you.

Paul Stevenson reportedly died.
I got this email from Laurie Lewis (Jewel Davis' daughter):

I found a short obituary:
STEVENSON, WILLIAM P.

Published in the Denver Newspaper Agency on 3/14/2004.
There is a William P. Stevenson listed on the ESOP lost list so I think this is the right one.
Does anyone else have further info?

I thought I had sent this to you but I don't see it in my out box so this old memory must be failing.
I will e-mail Ronnie who is Paul's wife, she works for the IAM with United Ramp Services.  
I'll see if I can get a picture and his start date with FL.  
He was in Denver when FL closed.

His name is on the "lost list".

Jewel called me about a week back. His daughter's e-mail confirmed what Jewel said. 
He was in his mid 50s from what we, Jewel and I could figure out.

I also worked with Paul at the air freight facility in the 80's.  Sad to hear of his passing.

I think Paul started around 1974 or so. He was a station agent in DEN. 
Worked mostly afternoon airfreight. I know he was in the navy. I think maybe on a carrier but not sure on that one.
He was about 55 or 56 as I know he was just a year or two older than me. 
It was really good to be on a shift with him. 
He was always laughing and he liked to question some of the stranger decisions from mid management. Go figure.

I did not know Paul but I see Ronnie daily at UA. 
She is a fine person and has been a major force in our union (IAM) and writes for its newsletter.

I appreciate your thoughts of Paul. 
I believe he started at Frontier in late 1974 or early 1975.

Looks really good.
Not sure why but this one really hit close to the heart. 
I look back and just feel honored to have had the chance to hang with the FL Family. 
Paul made those pm frieght shifts actually fun.
