The obituary for M.C."Pappy" Russell is in the Ft. Worth Star-Telegram, Thursday, October 13, 2005.
He died Tuesday, October 11, 2005.  Age 96.
"Pappy" was a Lead Mechanic and started with Central Air Lines in Ft. Worth, April 2, 1951.  
His date of birth was 7/7/1909.
He worked at FTW / GSW / DAL / and DFW.

Pappy was a wonderful grandfather and will be deeply missed. 
What a blessing that I was able to come see him and help celebrate his last birthday. 
I know he is happy now up in heaven with the loved ones who have passed before him. 
My thoughts and prayers are with the rest of the family as well.

Pappy was a wonderful Grandfather.
He taught me many things when I was a young boy. 
Working with wood and metal. Using various hand and power tools. 
He was an excellent craftsman. 
He built some of the finest quality furniture I have ever seen. 
And beautiful Grandfather clock cases.
I could only wish I had half the talent that he did! 
I deeply regret that I did not take the time to visit him before he passed.
He is in a better place now.
And he will be missed by all that knew him.
