MIKE SMITH 1949 - 1970 PILOT OKC ACF FTW GSW DAL You ex-CEN people may be interested to know that one of the most senior CEN pilots, Captain Mike Smith (also known as "The Colonel") passed away about a week ago. He's been in a nursing facility at Hurst TX for quite some time suffering from Alzheimers disease. I think he was in his late 80's or possibly early 90's. He retired a year or so after the CEN-FAL merger. -Jack Frost (11/24/98) Mike's name was Charles Smith according to the Social Security Death Index. He was born Feb 28, 1910 and died Nov 15, 1998.
