Here's a list I compiled of the Flight Attendants I knew who have passed on along with year of their passing.
All  had gone on to work as Flight Attendants for Continental Airlines.  
If I learn of more, I'll let you know.

After some more digging, I have located additional Obit information.

Janet Cupps, died May 7, 1990
Lee Smart, died December 16, 1989

Several years ago I lost contact with a FL employee friend and was hoping to find some mention of him.  
One of the links you sent list him as deceased.  
While that's not what I was hopng for, it certainly concludes my search.
I know what an airline family is.  
I worked for UA for 15 years.  
It wasn't my first choice but it was an airline and they hired me.

Sorry that your visit to our website found bad news.
Which FL employee was your friend?
I may have known them.
My efforts with the FL website, newsletter, etc are are great
except for the obits which seem to grow daily.
Nobody told me that getting old meant you buried more friends and family.

Lee Smart was a flight attendant based in San Diego when I knew him.  
We're from the same town in Utah and I was in high school at the same time as his younger brother. 
I'm continually stunned when I read that someone else I know has passed on.  
I know exactly what you mean.  
It's ironic because I never expected to live to see the 21st century.  
And then in 1990 I was told my time was very limited.  
Medical science improved and I'm still here.  
I'm walking around "dead" while people I know that should have lasted forever are gone. 
My parents are in their 80s now with very few friends their age left.  
It must be hard to bury everyone you know. 
Anyhow, I tend to babble.  Thanks for the thoughts.  
I take comfort in knowing I'm not the only one who thinks about such things.
