LARRY NENSTIEL 1958 - 1986 STATION AGENT, ASSISTANT STATION MANAGER, STATION MANAGER TOP LBL PUB LAS Was cleaning out some old files and ran across two letters the late Sam Cales sent me that he had received from Keith Kahle. One is a letter from the FAA in 1988, stated that Keith Kahle Aviation, a G.I. flight school operating at Oklahoma City from about 1934 to 1949 and Central Airlines had never had any violation filed against them by the FAA or its predecesser nor had any accidents, injuries or deaths occurred. The other was from Keith written in November of 1988, which he sent to all the old Central people that he could find an address for, thanking them for their efforts in achieving this record. Have you seen these letters? If not, I'll send you a copy. Thanks for the great job you do with the Frontier News and the website. -Larry Nenstiel (12/4/04) The Kahle letters sound very interesting. Copies would be greatly appreciated. Did you know he named all ex-Central employees as honorary pallbearers in his obituary? I can email you a copy if you don't have it. Do you have any CN Skywriter newsletters? If so, let me know which ones you have as I'm trying to add to my file. Lots of history in them. By the way, the big CN article should be in the next issue of AIRLINERS magazine. I helped Dave Nichols, the author, with info & copies of things. -Jake Lamkins (12/4/04) Larry Nenstiel FL1958-86 TOP LBL PUB LAS -Larry W.
