Lloyd, a mutual friend, Kevin Bowe, let me know of your health challenge.  
What an amazing career you, no doubt, are reflecting on these days.  
I'm looking back to 1978 when you were a new-hire with good ol' Frontier Airlines.  
I often have to fight-off wishful thinkin' that Frontier would have been the only airline for us both.  
Alas, as we've discovered, life is full of thunderstorms, and rough air.  
We've learned to circumnavigate a lot.  Yet sometimes it becomes a fateful thing.
Cheryl and I have you in our thoughts and prayers!  Keep up your faith.  
I've gone thru three bouts of cancer and have my medical back.  
Hopefully, one of these days you will be telling a similar story and flying your RV-8!

IAC Chapter 12 is deeply saddened by the passing of long time member, pilot and friend, Lloyd Stoops.  
He passed away recently after a courageous battle with cancer.  
Our sincere condolences to Mary, Scott and the rest of his family.
