KEN FLEGAL 1972 - 1986 PILOT DEN K R FLEGAL Seniority date 9/25/72 On the 9/1/86 FL/ALPA seniority list. -Jake Lamkins (6/2/06) Posted at the FL Club Updated memorial webpage Ken Flegal, DEN pilot http://DENFL.tripod.com/Ken_Flegal.html Post any notes you have about Ken. We don't have much on him. -Jake Lamkins (6/4/06) Will you please post this for me on Ken's memorial page? When I started working in Dispatch, Ken and I became very good friends. Ken always had a smile on his face and when you were feeling down he would always say one of his "Flegalisims" and make you laugh. Ken went to work for CO after the crash but couldn't take the BS. He walked off his flight in LAS and called-in and resigned. His last job before his death was flying freight out of Belgium. I will always be able to call Ken one of my good friends...... -Kevin Porreco (6/4/06) He was a helluva guy for sure. As you said; always smiling and friendly. -Jake Lamkins (6/4/06) Hi Kacie, I got your request to join the Old Frontier Airlines group. Aren't you Ken Flegal's daughter? -Jake Lamkins (8/7/15) I am and would love to be part of the group and connect with folks who knew him. He has been gone since 1991 and I miss him still every day. -Kacie Flegal (8/7/15) GREAT making contact with you and welcome to the FLamily. I knew your dad at work and he was a terrifc fellow. He was still so young and handsome. He was funny too. Had some great stories! My grandmother got to meet him when we had an El Paso layover. She told him he was too handsome not to be Latino. He said he didn't know for sure, because he was adopted. He was pulling her leg, for sure! -Sylvia Rau (8/27/15) One very cool guy indeed !!! -Hal Fahrenbruch (8/27/15) One of the good guys !! -Ed Woodson (8/28/15) Great Guy!!! -Lisa Kerr Zeman (8/28/15) Many of the pilots called Ken "The Italian Stallion". To watch him operate in a bar was a hoot. Kenny, I miss you buddy! -Tom Robertson (8/28/15
