He has been diagnosed with brain and lung metastatic cancer from previous cancers. Confused and weak but knows everyone. Not in too much pain. Trouble talking on the phone. Feel free to share. I may post on FB. -Stella Chapman Sleater (2/19/18) I'm sorry to hear this, Stella. Tell him I wish him the best. -Jake Lamkins (2/19/18) I went to visit Keith Sleater, he likes company. Doing pretty well for someone with lung cancer that has moved to his brain. Still remembers all the old stories. He can't navigate smart phone anymore; they got him a jitterbug flip phone. -Bonnie Dahl (3/15/18) Last night, our dad, Keith Sleater piloted his last flight over the rainbow. Thank you to The Denver Hospice for making his death peaceful, calm and comfortable. He lived an amazing life. He was a lawyer, a pilot, a racecar driver. He was a dedicated father, a son, a brother, a grandpa. He was a loyal husband, a dear friend. He was an amazing teacher, patient and calm. He was a patriot and he loved the constitution. He was a man of his word, a man of uncompromising values. He always told us not to be sad, to throw a parade when he died. So let the band play... now it is time to celebrate his life, though we will miss him dearly. We love you, Dad. Thank you for all of the love and joy and adventure you brought into this world. Cheers to your beautiful life. With Brian Sleater, Stella Chapman Sleater, Maung Hlaing, Roxanne Sleater. He was a great guy and pitched in a lot during the horrific ending of our beloved airline. -Billy Walker (8/6/18) K L SLEATER DEN pilot DOB 9/28/30 DOH 6/22/59 per the Feb 1960 Frontier Roster.
