Judith Bunn Eagle
1940-2003
We lost our beloved Judy to cancer early morning on Sept. 20.
Born in April 21, 1940, in Denver, she was raised in Forst Collins, Colo., and Cheyenne.
At Cheyenne High she was a great cheerleader and graduated in 1958. After a year at
Colorado State university, she spent a year at the University of Utah. Judy then moved
to Denver to work for Frontier Airlines. There she met her "to be" in 1965, married and
moved with John to Santa Fe, N.M.; Denver; Houston; Austin, Texas; Dallas; and in
1976 they moved to the country near Andice, Texas.
Judy went to work for Georgetown Title in 1978 when John started his own business.
Several months later, she was lured to First Texas Bancorp, Inc. where she worked until
the cancer won. She was a prolific reader and the Georgetown Public Library knew her
well, as much for the late fees as the number of books she borrowed.
Judy loved her family, close friends, career and most especially cooking for family and
friends. Her specialty was crab cakes with remoulade sauce. She was "Gran" to her
granddaughter Cami and was expecting a grandson in January 2004. She was John's best friend for 39 years.
She is survived by her husband John; two sons, John H. Eagle III and his wife Amy
Briscoe-Eagle, and Justin P. Eagle and his wife Elizabeth M. Eagle; a sister-in-law
(really like a sister), Mary Eagle Pauza; a brother, Michael Bunn and his wife Teal;
brother, Richard Bunn and his wife Laurene; and by many other relatives and close friends.
The family will have a private funeral service in Georgetown, Texas. Let there be peace!
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made to the Georgetown Library,
808 Martin Luther King, Georgetown, TX 78626.
Arrangements are being completed by The Gabriels Funeral Chapel, Georgetown.

Ken Schultz sent a great packet of FL history.
Included was a 1963 photo of the finance department.
Shortly before the 1963 annual Frontier picnic, the Finance Department posed for this picture. 
It appears the IDs by row start on the right end & go left,
which is the opposite of the usual way.
