John Kelly had a stroke Tus or Wed of last week  
We went up to see him.  Didn't expect to see him in the shape he was in.
Had a nurse on each side of him to hold him up,  don't think he knew us.   
Ruth his wife thinks he will get better.  I couldn't handle it.
broke down and cried like a baby.    Thought I would let u know

John's daughter, Cathy, phoned and left a voice message to call her.
I was expecting bad news when I returned her call
but she wanted to get the NEWS restarted to him.
I gave her the info and she told me he was doing fairly well,
was paralyzed on right side, in a wheelchair but knew everybody
and he wanted to get the NEWS again.

The Old Frontier Airlines Retired Ticket Stampers  
will meet at 1 pm on Tuesday, Feb 26, 2019 at the Village Inn in FYV.

P.S. More bad news after Phil Green and Rod Downey flew west.
I heard that John Kelly flew west last Saturday.
Can anyone confirm that sad news?

According to his daughter, John Kelly passed away Saturday. 
He had a massive stroke about five years ago and has required 24 hour care ever since. 
Funeral will be Wednesday Feb 27, at Ocker Funeral home in Alma at 2pm.
