My late mother, Alberta (Chambers) Crary, and John were first cousins -- her mom Ethel and Happy were siblings -- and I recall many times stopping by the airport with her to greet John. My deepest sympathy to his wife, children and grandchild on their loss. Lowell Crary Gilbert, Arizona Jo Ann,Becky,Vicky, and Brenda I have many memories of John. But he impacted my life the most when Dad had his back surgery and you all took us in while he recovered. I called in sick to work at JC Penny's because I thought I should not have to work on my birthday. John sat me down and we had a discussion about work and time off. I still to this day think of that talk when I feel like playing hookie from work. John Thank You and Rest in Peace. Girls we love you and will pray for you all in this time of morning. Love Kevy Kevin Johnson, Rifle, Co To Joanne and family, Johnnie was a great friend and a shirt tail relation of mine. I first knew him when he lived on Sheep Mountain, in 1936. Donald & Joyce Jobgen 24800 Sage Creek Road Scenic,SD 57780 Dear Mommy, On Dad's behalf, thank you, thank you, thank you for your tireless care for many challenging months. He clung so tenaciously to life and you were there 24/7, sometimes not leaving the house for two weeks at a time. Words can not express the gratitude I feel and I only wish that I could have been there more for you both. Victoria Hynes, Texas Dear Dad, I will miss you more than words will say. Although you were far more comfortable talking about cars, WW II or football than about emotions and feelings, there was never any doubt that you loved "your girls," even when we stumbled along the way. It warmed my heart to think that Bandit was there to guide you on your final journey and I'm so glad that you will no longer have to struggle for every breath. Thank you for sharing your gift of gab, love of learning and strong work ethic. All My Love, Vicky Victoria Hynes, Texas My deepest sympathy to you, JoAnn, and all the family.
