JOEL SHOENEMAN 1971 - 1972 INFLIGHT HOST DEN FLacebook Last year Ken Clark - Sales Rep Denver and DSM Colorado Springs passed away. Also Joel Shoeneman - Inflight CSR Denver. -Mike Warner (6/4/20) Hi Mike, I found obits for both Joel and Ken and some FL records for Ken. However, I can find nothing on Joel in my FLiles and his obit does not mention Frontier. Do you know the time period he worked for us. Thanks, -Jake Lamkins (6/6/20) He was hired by Ski, formerly DSM Chicago, but I don't recall the dates but believe he worked for around a year. He left Frontier to buy his family ranch and built it to a 6000+ acre ranch north of Denver Intl' and raised Charolais cattle. We learned to fly at the same time - Worked at United 1969-70 as ticket agents at DEN. Good friends to the end. Stomach cancer result of perforated intestine a couple years earlier. -Mike Warner (6/8/20) Joel is not in the Dec 1970 Frontier Emploees Roster and Ski (Rich Gryczkowski) is listed as a sales rep. Ski was gone from the company by about 1972 so I will figure Joel was with Frontier 1971 - 1972 until info otherwise is received. The Jun 1971 FL News announced the Inflight Host program and it is mentioned again in the Jul, Aug-Sep & Oct-Nov, 1971 issues. The Jun 1972 article says Chuck Fahrenholz took over as manager of the program. Males were called Inflight Hosts, sometimes shown as Flight Hosts, and ladies were Customer Service Representatives. It appears the program lasted about 18 months. -Jake Lamkins (6/9/20) FLacebook - FL Club Frontier Memorial Webpage Posted JOEL SHOENEMAN 1971 - 1972 INFLIGHT HOST DEN http://FAL-1.tripod.com/Joel_Shoeneman.html Post your remembrances of him. -Jake Lamkins (6/10/20)
