JODY LOHSE BINKLEY 1955 - 1958 FLIGHT ATTENDANT DEN There was an obit in the local paper about a month or so ago that read as follows; "JOAN V. "JODY" BRINKLEY, 65, Of Lakewood died May 29. Services were June 2. Mrs. Binkley was born in Hanford, Calif., on July 8, 1933. She married M. Alson Binkley, 1958. She was a flight attendant for Frontier Air Lines in the 1950's. She survived a DC-3 crash in 1958. She was a painter, teacher and owner of Studio West Gallery and Lakewood Arts Studio. She sponsered exhibits for charity. Her artwork was recently published in The Best of Floral Painting and she was listed in Who's Who In Painting. Survivors include her husband; sons Cameron of California, Brock and Clay, both of Lakewood; brother Robert Colquitt of Denver." -Ace Avakian (9/8/99) I checked thru my newspaper clippings and found that FL had a crash at PUB on Saturday, Aug 23, 1958 which I believe is the one involving Jody. The stewardess is named Jody Lohse, 25, in the article. Jody Lohse Binkley at FL c.1956-59. -Julie Santangelo Grinstead FAL 1957-62 Stew 1959-62 (1/7/03) Joanne was on the DC3 that crashed at PUB 8/23/58. An excerpt from the CAB report: Stewardess Joanne V. Lohse, age 24, had been employed by the company since February 2, 1955. Her training was completed March 31, 1955. -Jake Lamkins (3/3/07) J. V.
