I'm writing on behalf of my dad, Jewel Davis, who does not yet have internet access.  
Please invite me to join the group so that I may let my dad know who else is "out there."
I think he'd appreciate a copy of the newletter.  
I'm pretty sure he left FL before the "end."  
I'm thinking it was in 1985.  
I'm pretty sure he started around 1974 (before I was around ;)  
He worked in Denver, then to Wichita, then back to Denver again.

I had lunch with my daddy today.  
He told me he resigned from FL in April 1985
and he thinks he remembers getting money for his stock upon leaving. 
He particularly remembers thinking that by quitting before the bankruptcy, 
he "got a better deal" than if he'd stuck it out to the end.

Jewel and I spent a lot of time together working in the "Freight Shack" in Denver back in the early mid-seventies.
I truly enjoy the newsletter. Everything comes to a complete stop in our home when the paper arrives.
