I met him when we were attending Opportunity School's A&P training in 1947. 
Jerry Francis and Red Fowler were classmates also.

I will assume he retired in early 1985
until info to the contrary is received.
The Schultz database says Jerry was also a mechanic
but I have not been able to verify it.
The 1960 FL Roster shows his date of hire
the same as his pilot seniority date.
