Jack Wadell died 11-11-02

I hadn't heard anything about Jack Wadell.  
Do you have any further info than what was in the newsletter?

Jack Wadell came with the company a few years after I did.  
He flew a few trips, quit and went to work for a mining company out of Riudosa, New Mexico.  
He never kept up with any of us except one time I saw him in ABQ...
he was flying an F-27 for the mining company (American Potash.)  
That's the last we heard of him.

Research found his name to be spelled Waddell.
I'm assuming he was with the company about 1952 from Ace's note.
He is shown at Potash in a 1959 item.
There is a B J Waddell on the FL/ALPA Roster
and a B J Jack Waddell at FindAGrave.com who died
a week after the date given by Ace Avakian.
He does not appear to be the Jack Waddell who was a Boeing test pilot
because the Sparks article does not mention it.
