JACK VOLLBRECHT 1971 - 1981 CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE DEN DENVER (AP) -- James C. Dixson, a former vice president of Frontier Airlines, filed suit in Denver District Court Tuesday seeking $800,000 from the airline, two of its executives and Newsweek magazine for alleged libel in a May 15 story on a management shakeup at Frontier. The Frontier executives named as defendants in the suit were Alvin L. Feldman, president, and Jack H. Vollbrecht, an attorney. Dixson charged in the suit that statements made about him in the 2,500-word Newsweek story, some attributed to Feldman and Vollbrecht, brought him into public disgrace. -Greeley Daily Tribune on January 31, 1973 Jack was on the Board per an article and photo in the 1980 annual report. -Jake Lamkins (2/26/06) Vollbrecht did not stand for re-election to the Board in 1981 and was replaced by John J. Dalton per the Jun 1981 article. He had come to Frontier as Chairman of the Board in early 1971 when Al Feldman and Glen Ryland came to Frontier. All three were previously at Aerojet General.
