OBITUARY  
John Jay (Jack) Siebert 1933 ~ 2009 
Jack Siebert passed away on July 3, 2009 after a long illness. 
He was born July 25, 1933 in Pocatello, Idaho to William and Myrtle Denton Siebert. 
He married Judy Ann Karas on March 3, 1958 in Idaho - she preceded him in death. 
He is survived by his son Tony (Shelly), daughter Gayle (Verlin) Maughan, 
four grandchildren and brothers Tom (Eva) Siebert and Daniel (Thelma) Siebert. 
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:00 a.m. 
at the Broomhead Funeral Home 12600 So. 2200 W. where friends may call an hour prior. 
Interment Rest Lawn Cemetery, Pocatello, Idaho at 2:30 p.m.

I thought it strange that FL was not mentioned in his obit.

I found him on a 1976 IAM seniority list with a seniority date of 9/15/69.
Was he there in SLC til the end?
I've seen it often where FL isn't mentioned in obits.
Families, who usually write them, don't always think it's important.

Jack was a great guy. 
I bowled with he and his wife and spent a lot of time with them while I was in SLC. 
Always smiling!
