GUY BRINKMAN 1977 - 1986 STATION AGENT LNK DEN GFK FAR BIL ELP HLN OMA Jake, The FLamily at Lincoln, Nebraska had a great time at a 20 year reunion on October 7, 2006. We met at The Steak House in Lincoln and had a great meal of Nebraska steaks and other fabulous food. There was much reminiscing and stories told (not all lies) and a great time was had by all. It was great to see all the FLamily again after 20 years. Some of us are still in the Lincoln area and several others came in from distances away. We all try to keep in touch and voted to do this again in two years. Gone West and in remembrance are: Dean Fisher, Jimmy Zelesky, Oran Kennedy, James Ashley, Larry Witkowski and Marlon Agena. Said Larry Harms had given him my contact. I called him back and gave him the phone number to call. He recently had a stroke and could not remember well. Thought he had about 10 years with FL and was there at the end but remembered working LNK DEN GFK FAR BIL ELP HLN -Jake Lamkins (6/16/12) FLacebook: Mike White In 1977 LNK became a mini hub when we started flying to ORD. About a dozen people were hired including Connie McAlister, Doug Black, Guy Brinkman, Dick Pleier, Roger Hanson, a guy we called DFW and some others that I'm forgetting. Also had three new SSAs - Greg Smith from AIA, Doug Osborne and me. I had been cut in Apr from LNK and gone to FMN and then SLC. Busy little station. Also became the liquor kit changing station. We had in the morning 4 flights that met up with the ORD flight and again around 3p and 7p. Around 1980 the experiment ended and the big cut came. I left in late 1979 and went to ELP and a few months later to DEN as SSA. (9/4/12) Hey Jake, I went to the LNK reunion recently and was talking to Guy Brinkman who had worked in Omaha. He would like to be a member of the FL on-line club. Thanks. -Mary Robertson Harter (10/23/15) Thanks, Mary, I had Yahoo.com send Guy an invite to the FL Club. Can someone email me a short write-up about the reunion for the newsletter? Guy, we still have the FL newsletter and the FL website noted below. There is also a page at Facebook called FLacebook. Just put Old Frintier Airlines in the Facebook search and join 775 FLolks keeting in touch. Regards, -Jake Lamkins (10/24/15) Mike White via FLacebook messenger 9/21/24 Another one gone west.
