GEORGE WILSON 1951 - 1983 AIRCRAFT INSPECTOR FTW ACF GSW DEN George W. Wilson died in Clifton, Texas on Thursday, October 18, 2001. He was an Inspector born January 11, 1923. His date of hire with Central Airlines was November 7, 1951. (Ken sent some photos with notes) 1. By CV600 Dart engine on west side of hangar in Aug 1970, prior to sale. Capt. Bill Huffman, George Wilson & Jim Linebarger 2. CN CV600 N74858 in Yuma, AZ, Feb 1966, being delivered from Convair in SAN to GSW. An unscheduled landing was made due to a fuel leak on the top side of the right wing - coming out of a stress plate. Harold Walling, Howard Pick, George Wilson. -Ken Schultz (10-22-01) George Wilson was one of the funniest guys I ever met. Incredible one liners, probably could have been a successfull comedian.
