I am proud to have flown co-pilot for George. I also took several check rides from him in Confederate Air Force C-47's. And, flew on his wing in T-6 formation with him at many of the CAF Shows. -Phil Stallings Pilot - CN/FAL 1964-1986 (1/8/10) John Paul Carey and I drove to DFW a couple of weeks ago for the crew luncheon there. Only four DFW guys were there, not surprising when I consider I was the youngest of the entire Central group and I'm older than dirt. Present were Everett Mayo, Jim Ford, George Ceshker and Bob Churchill. -Ron Gallop (1/31/13) FAL CESHKER, G J 0102780 DOB 10/07/15 DOH 01/01/66 RT 10/07/75 per the FL/ALPA roster. -Jake Lamkins (1/31/13) FLacebook This is an amazing photo from Dec 1975! Here is one from 1953 of Dad with the single prop Bonanza with the Mayor of Muskogee, OK. I was really blown away with the unbelievable work you have done with the websites for Cental and Frontier and the obituaries for those who have passed. We want to make a contribution to the Museum so please tell us how we should make the check payable. I am attaching some additional photos which the titles identify what they are of, as well as an updated Obituary which had the 2 photographs of Dad instead of only the WW II photo. I will be mailing the caps and other items to you later this week, but let me know how to make the check out so I can include it. Thank you for preserving the memories of not only the Greatest Generation of which Dad was a part, but also of the flying history as it was when it was like Family and not an impersonal business. -Greg Ceshker (4/2/17) Hi Greg, The 12 pix you sent are great. I especially like the Dad Frontier photo and will use it in the frame on his webpage. The one with Keith Kahle is priceless and I'll be posting it on Keith's memorial webpage. I'll be adding most if not all of them to George's memorial. Thank you so much for considering a donation to the museum. The weblink I sent to the Central/Frontier collection is a webpage I put together myself. The museum's webpage is at http://www.arkansasairandmilitary.com/ You can donate at their website or send your check to me and I'll hand carry it to them. In that case, make the check out to Arkansas Air & Military Museum. Thanks again for everything, -Jake Lamkins (4/3/17) Jake, Hope all goes well. Attached is a photo of Dad's headstone which we just got placed last week. We tried to get it as close as possible as a Central Airlines DC-3 looked. Would you please add this to Dad's In Memoriam? Please send us a photo when Dad's Frontier uniform is on the manikin in the Museum.. Thanks!! -Greg Ceshker (5/26/17) Hi Greg, Just got your dad's display finished and it turned out well - see attached. I must get a black tie for it though. Meanwhile I'm using a 1986 tie. I'm especially pleased by the manikin and the lifelike eyes. Sally, the museum director, found the manikin and spent almost the total amount of the check you sent. I hope you are pleased and I think it is a pretty damned classy thing you've done. -Jake Lamkins (6/18/17) FLacebook - FL Club FLight West: George Ceshker FTW ACF GSW DAL DFW pilot George Ceshker's memorial webpage has been updated at http://FAL-1.tripod.com/George_Ceshker.html His son sent nearly a dozen additional items for his webpage.
