Ed Beauvais lost almost everything in 1992. 
New lenders ousted him as chairman of the bankrupt America West Airlines. 
He lost a $1 million salary, a $1 million home and his stock in the low-fare carrier he founded was nearly worthless. 
Last week, Beauvais, 58, announced plans to launch a new airline, Commercial Air, in Colorado Springs. 
An old college buddy, the late Gene Lamansky, had talked him into interviewing for an accounting job at Frontier Airlines.
He left Frontier Airlines in 1963 to be director of budgeting and cost control at Bonanza Airlines.

Just ran across an online item noting Gene Lamansky died.
He started in accounting in 1959 and was assistant treasurer in the 1968 FL annual report
but is not shown in the 1969 report so I assume he left around then.
I don't see him on your list.
Do you have anything on him.

Nothing in the Jul/Aug or Sep/Oct 1978 FL News.
He is shown as Comptroller in the 1966 FL annual report.
And as Assistant Treasurer in the 1968 annual report.
He is gone in the 1969 annual report.
William M. Groody is shown as Treasurer and Assistant Treasurer.

I have researched Gene Lamansky's employment at Frontier, and located his obituary.
He is listed in the Employee Quick Reference Directory (QRD) of 1969 as Comptroller.
The QRD of January 1, 1970, lists him as Assistant Treasurer.
The QRD July 1970, does not list him, so he apparently left Frontier in the spring of 1970.
He is also listed in the SSDI as Eugene Lamansky.

His obituary was in the Rocky Mountain News,  August 3, 1978.
It says his funeral was Tuesday which would have been Aug 1, 1978.
Then it notes he died the previous Thursday, Jul 27, 1978.
