FRANK MONHEISER 1966 - 1986 STATION AGENT CYS DEN I worked with Frank Monheiser when he was an active member of the ALEA team. He represented the agents very well and was the most honorable and fair representative I can remember sitting on the union side of the table. -Jim Montgomery (11/01/04) Frank was ALEA Council 73 Chairman in the 1978-82 period. He was Master Chairman 1978-80. I became Master Chairman after he resigned in Feb 1980. -Jake Lamkins (12/19/04) JAKE......REMEMBER THIS GOOD OLE GUY? -Frank Monheiser (He sent a photo of Lee Davis and his wife) (12/20/04) Thanks, that's a remarkable pic. I don't see any stains on Lee's front. Is that recent - like this Xmas? I've been going thru old scrapbooks and organizing files. I found this pic of us, Trish & Kayla on the picket line. Looking back and knowing what I do now, I believe we were doomed from the day deregulation began in 1978. Merry Christmas, -Jake Lamkins (12/20/04) That is Mr and Mrs Lee this Christmas........... you know we put out a lot of fires over the years........ you and yours have a great Christmas . -Frank Monheiser (12/20/04) I need to get a little bit older (before retiring), maybe 5 more years.........the way I look at it now I don't work that hard, (I won't tell CO that) and as long as I'm healthy and maybe CO will give us more money down the road. You know something that has bit the airline industry in the butt is "industry standards". What I mean is CO is paying more than the other carriers and CO is using the "industry standard" game, they say we need to get down to industry standards........... and I need to bug these CO people with my FL time and experience as I don't think they will ever let it go. -Frank Monheiser (2/3/05) F E MONHEISER Station agent seniority date of 12/27/66, emp# 05783, on the 1/1/86 FL/ALEA seniority list. -Jake Lamkins (1/9/09) FLacebook Did you get info on Frank Monheiser? -Bruce Osborne (11/30/19) What's going on with Frank? Jake Lamkins (11/30/19) Haven't been able to get a lot of info, but Monday he was in the attic above the garage and he fell evidently landing on his head. He is in ICU and they had a brain surgeon there, don't know if they did surgery or not. Yesterday they discovered he had a collapsed lung, but said the head trauma is the big issue, -Bruce Osborne (11/30/19) Jake Lamkins Jake Lamkins Thanks, please keep me advised. (11/30/19) Update on Frank Monheiser: Doris's daughter Stacey shared this morning on Frank Monheiser: "Papa is cleaned up and settled for the new day. He did good last night, blood pressure has been a little higher than desired but controlled with meds. All in all good start to the day. I will send some updates when they make rounds and try to get him up for the day. He does have blood in his urine so they're running more tests today. He remains very weak and is showing signs of pneumonia. The family appreciates your concern and asks for continued prayers for Frank's recovery." -Bruce Osborne (11/30/19) Prayers for Frank! Worked with Frank at Frontier and the with Frank at Continental in IAH. We rode the early bus (about 4 am) together into work at George Bush Int'l. We were in the control center. -Connie Mcalister (11/30/19) Frank is having some new problems this evening. The doctors are intubating him now because his breathing is very labored. The doctor told the family that if they didn't and he continued like he is that he would go into cardiac arrest by tonight. They are running more tests and doing another CT now and waiting on the results. They are checking for blood clots and seeing if he had a stroke or what's going on. His white blood count is up and he had blood in his urine. They have stopped PT and OT and eating by mouth today. -Bruce Osborne (11/30/19) Update on Frank Monheiser as of 8:30pm Tuesday (December 3) from daughter Stacey Morgan Traylor: "His intubation tube was removed around 5:30pm. Papa (Frank) is breathing fine on his own although it's a little labored and his blood pressure is a bit elevated. The pneumonia is pretty much cleared up but he is now fighting an UTI. He remains lethargic. He barely opened his eyes today. An ultra sound has been ordered for his left arm/hand as it's very swollen, red, and warm to the touch. We just have to wait and see how he does now that the breathing tube is out." I asked how Doris was doing and Stacey wrote: Mom is doing well. She was tired tonight when we left. I think we were all relieved that the tube is out and he can breathe on his own. Praying now that he can sustain on his own. We're grateful to each and every person inquiring and praying!! Please let everyone know we appreciate the love, support, and prayers!! -Bruce Osborne (12/4/19) This is an update regarding Frank Monheiser and is sent from Stacey Morgan Traylor, Doris's daughter. "Papa's body is tired of fighting. He is struggling very hard to breathe. He has been totally unresponsive for over a week now and just has too many things working against him. The doctors have done all they can do and suggested we put him in hospice care. With heavy hearts we are honoring Papa's wishes by following his living will directives. We know he wouldn't want to live like this. He will be moved to a hospice care facility in the next few days. We are striving to make Papa as comfortable as possible until his passing. Continued prayers are appreciated. We would like to ask for no visitors during this difficult time." -Bruce Osborne (12/7/19) Frank Monheiser passed away December 7 at 11:55 PM. Please continue to be in prayer for the family of the man. -Bruce Osborne (12/8/19) I appreciate you keeping me up to day. I did a lot of ALEA work with Frank 1978-1982.
