I received word from Captain Jack Schade that "Fetch" Fetchner has flown west. 
He qualified as a class individual in every sense of the word. 
I know he will have smooth air, warm soft tailwinds, and a bright star to steer by on his final flight.

Retired Frontier Airlines Pilot and Air Force WWII Veteran. 
Beloved husband of Thelma; father of Linda, Jeannie and Carole. 
Memorial service and celebration of life, 11 a.m., Friday, January 24,2003, Galilee Baptist Church, 1091 South Parker Road.

Homer Dahl mentioned that Capt. Fechner was 
commonly called Fetch and that not many knew him as Cecil.
So, I have changed the name references to Fetch.
Fetch's daughter Linda was a FL and CO FA.
She died 10/19/05 - see her obituary info in the FL FA obits
and via the weblink on her dad's memorial webpage.

The pic of Capt. "Fetch" Fetchner and FO Jim Crowell are taken from the
Summer 1974 issue of Frontier Magazine in an article titled A RIDE ON THE JUMP SEAT.
The article was one of a continuing series of articles discussing the operation
of the aircraft for the benefit of the traveling public.  They were very educational.
Jim Crowell became a captain afterwards.
