James E. Myers - First Officer

There's a memoriam to James E. Myers in the March 1982 FL News who died when he was 43.  
Is he the same as Ev Myers which I got off Ace's list.  There's no James Myers on either list.

I will have to do some more checking to determine if James E. Myers, is the same as Ev Myers.
I called Ace this morning and he could not place a James E. , 
but the Ev Myers that he knew was "Everett".
I will check the Denver Papers for a funeral notice or obit to see 
if possibly the middle name of James E. was Everett, and get back to you.

Ref: James E. Myers / Ev. Myers;
I located the Funeral Notice for James E. Myers at the Denver Public Library,
where they have copies of all of the old Rocky Mtn. News, and Denver Post newspapers on microfilm.
His Funeral notice listed Bullock Mortuary as taking care of the arrangements.
I called Bullock Mortuary this afternoon and asked if they would check their
records, and specifically if they listed his middle name.
They returned my call and said his middle name was Everett, 
so apparently  he was known to the Pilot group as "Ev".  
So James E. Myers, and Ev. Myers are the same person.

J E  MYERS
Pilot seniority date of 7/5/67 on the 9/1/81 FL/ALPA seniority list.
Jim Myers died 1/9/82 per FARPA newsletter dated May 2009.
So he was known by Ev or Jim or both.
I will use the FARPA usage of Jim

I noticed JE "Ev" Myers is missing from your obit site.  
He was in my new hire class 7/5/67.  
Ev was killed in a car crash on his way home from a flight. 
I don't have any more info.

Should I change the posting to Ev Myers or was he also known as Jim to FLolks?
