Does anyone recall Ella Tanko?
She was a secretary who started with Monarch in 1946.
By 1958 she was secretary to the president.
I recently found her photo in a FL newsletter.
The SSDI says she died in 1983, nearly 90 years old.

Noticed a message re Ella Tanko.   
I'm nearly positive that she was the lady who cleaned the offices at Frontier 
in the 50's and was kind of a mother hen to all of us young gals at the time.  
A very, very sweet and special lady.  
There were a lot of us who were right out of high school (17 and 18 years old) 
who worked in the home office in the mid 50's and she always wanted to hear about what we were doing.
I know she wasn't secretary to the President.  
The secretary to the President at that time was Irene Moltzau(?)

Not at all sure when she retired BUT I don't think she was around after the admin offices were moved from the hanger to 39th Ave.
Will ask a few others and let you know if I get some info. 
Thanks - boy did that picture bring back old memories!  
I remember her very well and will send this picture on to a few other people who were in the G.O. in those days..

Ella was hired by Monarch Airlines on October 25, 1946 and was a janitor.
