My wife Mary talked to Rosie Maggard, Cliff's widow, today and
Rosie said that Ed Thomas died on July 31, 2012.  He had been living
with relatives in Emmett, Idaho.  Rosie said that there was no funeral
service but she had a copy of the obituary that Ed's wife had sent
her.  Mary will be seeing Rosie tomorrow and I'll have her see if she
can get a copy of the obit for you.  Ed had been ill for quite a while
and he had been granted a last wish on an Adult Make a Wish foundation
here in Boise.  Bev Olson had given me the info on where she had seen
the article re Ed.  By the time I saw the article on KTVB's site Ed
had already received his wish which was to take one last airplane
ride.  There were pics of Ed in a wheelchair getting in and out of the
cockpit of a WW II fighter based here in the BOI area.  I contacted
the reporter that did the story and requested info on how to contact
Ed but never received a reply.  Ed was one of the original Senior
Agents here in BOI when we opened in May or June of 1979.  He
transferred here from MSO but I don't know where else he had worked.
By the time FL closed in 1986 Ed was already wearing some sort of
heart monitor.  Cliff and Ed worked together somewhere, maybe Alamosa.
