I was saddened to find Doug's obituary tonight.
I knew Doug from Ozark and TWA. 
After we both left TWA our paths crossed occasionally in St. Peters. 
We also reconnected when my daughters were on the swim team at Laurel Park with Lynette.
I enjoyed chatting with Doug and catching up with stories about common friends. 
We always seemed to find something to laugh about.
My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

I was so sorry to hear of Doug's passing. 
We worked together at Ozark and later at TWA. 
I had so much respect for Doug and especially enjoyed his dry wit. 
My sincerest condolences to his family.

Doug was a friend of mine at General American. 
He did many favors for me and always treated me kindly.

I am so sorry. Doug was a great guy and loved by so many. 
We worked together at Central Res in Peoria and Doug and 
Roger loved to go shooting together. My prayers are with 
you and I hope you find comfort in knowing we will all 
see each other again. God Bless You All.

Doug was such a kind man and will be missed greatly. 
I used to call him Dougy at work. 
I'm sorry that I could not make the funeral, I just heard and now live in Connecticut.
My sympathies are with his family and friends.

It was my pleasure to have babysat his daughter Lynette and once in awhile his son Craig. 
I know he is happy to be with him now in heaven. 
Many a great cook out we had together in the backyard at Pinehurst. 
The last time I talked to him he and Sue where eating hotdogs and talking about the cookouts. Lots of good memories...

I just met Doug Thursday April 28th at St. Joseph's Hospital. 
After spending 30 minutes with Doug I knew how much he loved the Lord and left realizing I had made a new friend. 
As sad as it is to lose Doug I know from our conversations 
that he is rejoicing with Jesus and has all the air he will ever need to breath.
I am a better person for spending that time with Doug. 
He reached out and touched me, when I was there to reach out to him.

Sue, sorry to hear about your loss. 
Doug and I along with the credit and collection dept. worked on many projects at Ozark. 
He was a great help implementing the Return Check Verification System, 
and the offsite Ticket By Mail (TBM) with McDonnell Douglas Trade Agreement to save cash flow of several millions when Ozark purchased the DC-10's. 
We first met when I was field auditor and I had to write up a discrepancy, 
we always had a good laugh about that, of course after several beers. 
Doug also helped put together an album with the staff of the Refund, Credit Collection, 
and Cargo Dept. when I left for my new position at Continental Airlines July of 1986, 
which is a work of art , and I still have it to remind me of our great days at Ozark. 
We all have lost a great friend and co-worker.

Sue and family..I have known Doug for over 47 years going back to the days at Ozark in Cape Girardeau. 
We also spent time together in Kansas City after Ozark was taken over by TWA.
I was so glad to see he is a Christian! He's definitely in a better place now!
