(10/12/09) Don White Good to hear from you. I remember the snow in BIL. It was the reason I went into Management. I was working on a Twin Otter in snow up to my --- when Bill came out of the office and ask if I needed anything then went back in. I knew at that moment I was on the wrong side of this business.... (10/13/09) FLacebook after posting Bob Drake's updated memorial webpage: Don White My friend and the greatest pilot at Frontier to work and pal with. He had a great deal of respect for maintenance and a sense of humor. The stories I have about him. "Well Mallard they taught a monkey how to fly them but couldn't teach one to fix one". "Hate it when your right". (11/27/12) FLacebook Don White I am now 73 and looking back. So many people have walked through my life, a lot have left and some I miss and would love to have back in my life. Some walked away from me and some I walked away from and some passed on. Regrets I won't lie and say I have none, people who say that are damn lairs or have no heart. But for those who wish me ill sorry I am going to dance and remember all the great times and there have been to many to count. (5/23/16) FLacebook Don White Nov 27, 2020 I hope this is ok to post. My Everything is Gone. Don Passed away 11 22 2020. I don't want to go into detail, but he passed away from his heart ceasing to beat. He had not been well for several months. When he came home from the hospital the last time, it had been recommended that I place Don in a Care Facility. As Don's friends would know, Don did not want Any part of that, and he got very upset. He wanted to come home to our ranch. I have enough training to Better care for him, not only in a Care Giver capacity, but also to be with him, stroke and hold him as only a Wife and Lover can. Don rallied and we spent two wonderful days just him and I being together, and me cooking special meals he wanted me to, and tenderly caring for all his needs. I had been taking Don's blood pressure every couple of hours, along with other vitals. He was doing well. A couple of hours before his death, his blood pressure that had been normal started to slow down. I was told it was an emergency if it went below 90. It did and I called EMS. They arrived quickly as he went into cardiac arrest. The ambulance had the latest and greatest in technology with artificial CPR on board and advanced medications. At the hospital they continued to valiantly try to save him. Total time over and hour. They never got his heart to beat. Don Passed away at his ranch and home where he wanted to be. Agent Orange finally killed him. Don Lived an amazing life as his FB page depicts, and I am so grateful to have been part of it for over 20 years. We did Everything together. We were a Team. We Loved each other Deeply. When we did not agree, we agreed to disagree. Ok, LOL Kind of. I am leaving you with all his many photos to remember him by. You are welcome to Post your memories. Because we have limited bandwidth on our internet out here on the ranch, I had to resize All of the photos. That is why it has taken so long for me to post. Enjoy! There is no funeral, and Don and I had discussed previously what he wanted me to do with his ashes. This is private. If you wish to do something in Don's memory, please consider doing something for our Vets, or his other passion Rescuing our breed of dog, The Toller. Toller Rescue Inc is a 501c3 rescue org Don helped found. TRI has a FB page, and a website. Sophie, Don's Service Dog was a rescue. Don, I Love You, Forever.
