FedEx starts flight operations
April 17, 1973
The modern air/ground express industry is born on April 17, 1973, 
the first night of continuous operation for Federal Express.
So Don would have started for them in this time period.
He is not on the Feb 1970 employees roster nor the Sep 1972 pilots seniority list.
I do not find him anywhere in my FLiles.
I suspect his time at Frontier was short.

I know Don Jones!  I flew a number of trips with Don in the 737.  
This ain't the same Don Jones!

Is this Don Jones still alive?
He would be 94 this year.
This new Don Jones must have been a short time employee.
His obituary says he was an original at FedEx
and they started flight ops in 1973.

I knew nothing of the Don Jones indicating Frontier affiliation.  His photo face is unfamiliar…
The Don Jones I flew with is the only Don Jones I've known:
Hopefully, he's still going strong!   I'm copying a few who might know more.

Last I heard Don Jones was living in Florida with his wife Marilyn.  
I think his boy lives down there.

DOB 1/22/44
Per the Sep 1970 pilots seniority list.
He is not on the Sep 1972 pilots seniority list.
His 2/25/70 pilots class is the last on the list.
Looks like Don flew with Frontier just under four months 
and turned down recall from furlough, probably in 1972.
The Sep 1981 pilots seniority list shows that Frontier 
did not hire any pilots for 2 1/2 years, 2/25/70 - 9/6/72.

and is still with us, as far as I know, at the age of 93.
