Do you recall anything about him? He died awfully young, age 38, in 1979. -Jake Lamkins (5/15/14) I remember some of the Engineering group talking about Don but I never met him as I was traveling most of the time as a Radio Mechanic repairing, installing and maintaining 'H' markers and station radios. In fact when I decided to quit traveling and bid on an in house job many thought I was a new hire and I had 15 years seniority. I'm copying Dick Bennett who may have known Don better. -Leo Schuster (5/16/14) FLacebook - FL Club DEN engineer Don Bingham's memorial webpage has been upgraded. http://FAL-1.tripod.com/Don_Bingham.html Still need a photo and obituary for Don. -Jake Lamkins (5/17/14) Don was a good friend of ours and I remember many enjoyable activities that we had with him. My husband (Paul Hunter/Lead Inspector-Line Maintenance) Don frequently rode motorcycles together. I distinctly remember that Don was a diabetic and with the amount of traveling that he was doing for FL to our outside overhaul vendors etc. that at times it was difficult to keep his blood sugar in control. Consequently, he went into a diabetic coma while at home and was rushed to the hospital, only to have suffered a stroke because of complications. As I recall, it was a couple of months later that he had a heart attack and died. At the time he was dating a FL flight attendant. -Carey and Paul Hunter (5/18/14)
