DICK LEHMANN 1959 - 1986 STATION AGENT, STATION MANAGER AIA ALM COS RKS TOL MSO Just received this notice from Sandy Lehmann, Dick's wife. Dick was City Manager at MSO when FAL stopped service in '86. Really an easy manager to work for and enjoyed working with him. -Red Barringer (11/21/10) To our many friends and family: Dick made his heavenly flight from pain and suffering Friday, November 19, at 10:40 PM. He was surrounded with the grace and love of God, family and friends, and I know beyond all shadow of doubt that he is resting peacefully in the arms of our Lord. He never waivered from his faith, and told everyone that "Just because I am not being healed does not mean that God is not a healing God. He has other plans for me." He was obedient to his death, telling his story of faith in Jesus Christ and how he had been transformed from a mediocre Christian to a man with deep faith in God. He said: "I consider it a privilege to be chosen to go through this so that others may find their way to a relationship with God. I would not trade this journey for anything in the world because of how it has changed me." How can I ever say thank you for the many prayers, love, and support given on our behalf for the past six months? We so appreciated every single card, call, and prayer as it kept us full of strength, joy, and peace throughout this time. We do not understand all things, but God has revealed to me that he intervened in Dick's life, at this time, to spare him from the ravages of this disease that were going to manifest very soon. All of the things that the doctors predicted were going to take place, did not!! After the stent placement, God gave him a season of "eating anything he wanted." He sang in the choir until that was done, and we had such a wonderful time of fellowship and communion with God. His favorite songs became: "If You Could See Me Now" and "Be Strong and Take Courage." We are all going to miss him very much, but we know that , if we have that same relationship with the Father and his son, we will have a reunion with him in heaven. Dick and Sandra moved to Arizona in the past few years due to Dick's health. Sandra - can you send either Jake or I where you and Dick were during the above years - with Frontier. Not sure if you had access to the OLD Frontier web site, but perhaps Jake can get that information to you. It contains lots of great information on Frontier, as well as those who have passed on.. -Red Barringer (12/6/10) Thanks for the additional info, Red. Sandy, Dick's memorial webpage is at http://FAL-1.tripod.com/Dick_Lehmann.html Email anything you wish added. A pic would help out. -Jake Lamkins (12/6/10) I am just curious to know if you received my information via e-mail? Please let me know, and if not, I will send it, again. -Sandy Lehmann (1/5/11) No, I have not gotten your email. I've heard nothing about Dick since the Dec 6 email from Barringer. I hope things are settling down for you now. Time seems to be the only thing that helps with losses of loved ones. Email anything you would like added to Dick's memorial webpage. A photo would improve it considerably. Regards, -Jake Lamkins (1/5/11) I am so sorry that this previous information did not reach you. Work History-- FAL: Hired from Weaver Airline School, Stn.
