WE BOTH WORKED ON THE RAMP AND DAVID HAD WORKED PREVIOUSLY FOR LAKE CENTRAL, IF MEMORY SERVES ME IN CLEVELAND. A REAL NICE FELLOW, I DON'T KNOW HOW LONG HE WAS WITH FRONTIER, I LOST CONTACT OVER THE YEARS AFTER WORKING IN SALES WITH FAL. I FORGOT TO MENTION WE BOTH WORKED AT STAPLETON AND DAVE LATER WORKED THE TICKET COUNTER ALSO. I LOOKED AT THE WEB SITE AND YES THAT IS THE SAME DAVID ROOT, I NEVER KNEW HE WAS IN THE NAVY THOUGH. THE REST OF THE GROUP FROM FEBRUARY 1959 WHO WORKED WITH US IN DENVER HAVE DIED. -HERB SCHMIDT (12/7/14) I WANTED TO ADD THAT DAVE WAS A REALLY NICE PERSON AND FROM MEMORY SOME OF THE PEOPLE WE WORKED WITH WHEN DAVE AND I STARTED IN FEBRUARY 1959 WERE JACK BASS, JOHN MORGAN, RON LEEPER, CHUCK DEMONEY, RON PAULSON (STUTTERING SAM). WE ALL WORKED TOGETHER ON THE RAMP AT STAPLETON - THIS WAS PRE CV-340'S. -HERB SCHMIDT (12/8/14)
