He got rid of all his computers and gadgets when he retired.
He has a lady friend who has one and checked the FL website.
Talked about ESOP awhile - he wanted to help locate pilots.

A.D. phoned and said he never received any FL NEWS.
I told him the dates I had mailed them.
It must be the post office.
I promised replacements in the mail tomorrow.
He said he had been retired in Hawaii 8 years and loved it.

Thanks for the hard and continuous work that you do for all of us FLers.
I just read in the ALPA magazine that A.D. Wardle from America West died in June. 
I didn't think that I had seen that in your tally. 
I could not find an obit in PHX paper.

I haven't heard from A.D. in ten years.
He used to take the FL newsletter and he was in Hawaii.
His subscription lapsed in 2008.
I'll check into it.
Any chance you could send me a scan of the ALPA magazine article.

He is not on FindAGrave or the FL/ALPA Roster.

I believe this is one-in-the same pursuant to the ALPA Magazine 'Gone West' list.  
I will check with American's PHX Chief Pilot's office and confirm with you ASAP.

No one from AWA seems to know.  
The American Airlines chief pilots office has no record of him 
other than the seniority lists from back in the pre-US Airways era.  
I'll keep checking.
