It’s with love and fond memories I remember Dave. He was more like a brother than a brother-in-law. 
He was the LIGHT in our big family. He welcomed and accepted each one, scars and all. 
Dave left a trail of beautiful memories. 
I will always remember and be grateful for the time he took to attend special events for my children and grandchildren. 
He was the essence of compassion.
I will treasure the memory of Dave until we meet again.

I will also miss all those games of spoons, canasta, poker, and your competitiveness but I won’t miss that spider monkey of yours! 
Oh how I loved the party for your 10th anniversary we enjoyed it so much 
and I can’t remember a time that I’ve seen you and Hortense happier.

Some of the hardest lessons in life happens when someone you love passes on. Oh how I regret not spending more time with him! 
He was a loving Uncle to me and especially to my brother, Kenny. 
His fun for life, his sensitivity, compassion, honesty and love for others will be truly missed. 
My mom always held a special place in her heart for him, and the comfort I feel now is knowing they get to see each other again.

I have so many. My best memories is going in the summer and staying with Uncle Dave, 
floating down the river and listening to Hortense scream! 
The black jack tournaments were a blast.
Uncle Dave was my favorite uncle. He will be missed.
