David Joyner passed away Thursday evening the 21st of August.
A memorial service will be held in Glenrose, Tx at:
Wiley Funeral Home

Glenrose, Tx 76048

It is still unknown if there will be a public service on Monday evening (25th).  
There will be a Memorial service on the 26th , Tuesday, time is 1:00 p.m.

Just heard from Jim Ford that Dave Joyner passed away on the 21st of this month. 
Heard he'd had a stroke a year or two earlier and they found him on the deck 
of his boat a day or two later, but don't know if this is the straight scoop. 
Anyway, he lived another year or two. 
A good pilot and fine gentleman.

Not sure when he went from station agent to pilot.
There may have been a break in service.

My father was a pilot with the original Frontier Airlines beginning in 1973-1986. 
I found the website y'all provide for pilots who have passed away. 
I noticed that his picture is missing. 
Here is one from 1973. 
He is sorely missed.

Capt Dave Joyner
My late Brother Jimmy Bennett’s widow Rosalyn, passed away a year and a half ago.  
Her sisters went through all her stuff and brought me 3 boxes of pictures, 
one of which had this picture of Dave in it!  The photo was dated 1997!!
