His westerly flight was, no doubt, smooth, with warm-soft tailwinds and a bright star to steer by... I received a call from his wife, Barbara. She said Dan went on his terms. Sounds like Dan! Dan was a fellow aviator, a fishin' buddy, a hellofafella! He was a VP with Frontier in the Feldman era. He loved aviation, fly-fishing', and life. He was such a joy to pal around with. Cook, Lordy, he could put a meal together. Pic of Dan arriving in Montana recently thanks to pal, Gordon Johnson. Somehow we knew it would be Dan's last trip to Montana where he ranched for many years. I sold Dan's Cessna 170A a few months ago. Tough for him when the reality of his flying days were over... a really good fellow! Blue Skies & Tailwinds... -Billy Walker (6/3/21) Thanks, Billy, sorry for the loss of your friend. I'll put Dan in the queue for a memorial webpage.
