Guest Book for Dale K. Burns at http://www.legacy.com/GB/GuestbookView.aspx?PersonId=112884350 July 31, 2008 Dale and I met through a church movement and worked together many times in that movement and he and I were working for another mutual friend when he suffered his first stroke. I very often pointed to Dale as a true Christian and the longer I knew him the more evidence was available. I am so sorry to learn of his passing so long after the fact but I know he is with me in my heart and I shall cherish his friendship forever. I am going to try to put up some pictures in the photo album. William (Bill) Gintzel (Lenexa, KS) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- July 7, 2008 I know Dale was a proud father. PERPETUAL LOVE I did not live in wealth and fame But the life I lived was not in vain For as the father of children who live on Their work shall carry on when I am gone. Their minds are young, their bodies strong Within their hearts there plays a song I know for sure that they shall see More wondrous things than seen by me. And so behold the love and beauty of this earth The snow upon the hills, the warming hearth The wind swept fields with flowers growing wild The smiling face of a happy child. That they shall know that love will reign supreme Has been a pleasant lifelong dream Then leaving, know that life goes on again And wish they too will say—I have not lived in vain.
