Carlson's obituary was found while researching Kirk Johnson's memorial webpage.
His short involvement with Central Airlines for ten months in 
1962 - 1963 is not well known and not mentioned in his biographies.

He held part of the controlling interest in Central for ten months in 1962 - 1963.
Curt's role seems to have been that of a silent partner with Carl Pohlad who became chairman of the board.
Not much info on his short involvement so post anything you have.

After the close of Frontier, I worked as a Branch Manager for Carlson Wagonlit Travel, 
a division of Carlson Companies. 
I met Curt on a couple occasions. 
This is the first I've ever heard of his involvement with Central, very interesting!
