I called Alice a few minutes ago to offer my condolences. Thanks for keeping on top of everything. The westbound corridors are becoming more and more congested with our people. -Clyde Hart (3/13/02) My first trip with Frontier was with Bert Wrasse and Dave Kaplan. He was a very nice man. I spoke with him a few months ago. He said he had some health problems, but didn't elaborate. Geez, the leaves are falling. -Billy Walker (3/13/02) Just to follow up a bit on Burt Wrasse; Burt died of cancer on March 7th. I understand it was found in Nov. of last year. Burt and I flew the CV-580 together for quite some time, also Burt was a Frontier pilot for 27 yrs. He was someone who welcomed me to Frontier after my move from Ft. Worth, TX to Denver CO, after the merger of Frontier and Central. Burt was quiet and understated but when he said something-it made a lot of sense! I have retired on Aug. 1, 2001 from Continental Airlines but miss the Frontier I used to know because of friends like Burt. -Grant Holmes (3/14/03) Sorry for this late report... just recently received the confirmed report of the Gone West of Bert Wrasse 3-7-02. Services were March 12th in Tempe, Arizona. Regretfully, -Ace Avakian (3/14/02) We had a great group of people working for FL. I've made contact with Mrs. Bert Wrasse who was married to a FL pilot who died in 2002. We go to the same church. We attended a Diamondbacks baseball game together. My first one & I had a great time. We speak of FL & all the good years. I'm glad we met again because I had lost contact with so many people for over 20 years. I guess it was Gods will that made it happen. She was able to meet my Mother & attend her 91st birthday party & now we are good friends. -Ginger Ann Treptow (5/3/05) H B WRASSE Pilot seniority date of 8/13/56 on the 10/28/67 & 9/1/81 FL/ALPA seniority lists. -Jake Lamkins (5/25/08) Subject: FL Club New memorial webpage Burt Wrasse, 1956-1983, DEN pilot http://FAL-1. tripod.com/ Burt_Wrasse. html Burt was Dale Welling's co-pilot when the DC3 hit the mountain in 1957. -Jake Lamkins (5/26/08) H B WRASSE DEN super80 captain Per the May 1983 pilot domocile list.
